  • Cultivating a Prophetic Spirit in the Musicians. To establish through worship, an environment which cultivates a prophetic spirit – II Kings 3: 15, I Chronicles 25: 1-3. Develop a flow between musicians, singers, intercessors – II Chronicles 5: 13

  • Antiphonal Singing and Team Ministry in Prayer. To experience the Spirit together as a team is a gift of God to the prayer ministry. Antiphonal singing (to answer responsively in turns; alternating with one another) gives an opportunity to operate in team ministry in the Holy Spirit in worship and prayer. It includes musicians, prophetic singers, spoken intercession and spoken proclamations. Ezra 3: 11, Revelation 5: 8-14

  • Agreeing with God’s Heart and the Joy of Answered Prayer. Prayer that is inspired by communion with the Holy Spirit – John 15:7. The Holy Spirit releases authority on the prayers that come from God’s heart – John 16: 23,24

  • Connection to Evangelism, World Mission & Serving the Poor and Oppressed. Enjoyable prayer that is active in the Great Harvest – Isaiah 56: 6-8, Luke 15:10, Luke 2: 37-38, Luke 10:2. Partnering with God to serve the poor and oppressed – II Cor. 8: 1-4, Isaiah 56: 6-8

  • Desire for Fullness of and Joy in Loving and Needing the Whole Church – Ephesians 3: 18-19. The Holy Spirit commands the blessing and releases more as we function in unity – Ps. 133: 1-3, Acts 2: 46, Acts 4: 31-35, Acts 5: 12, Romans 15: 5-7

  • God-centered Spiritual Warfare. The primary rule is that warfare is done by agreeing with God and disagreeing with the enemy. Most often we focus the proclamations to God. Proclaim God’s victory (by agreeing with the supremacy of Jesus, declaring prophetic decrees and reminding God of His promises) and denounce the enemy (by confessing sin, resisting Satan, renouncing the works of darkness, and speaking out the word of God).

  • Biblical Prayers Using God’s Language. Using actual prayer and worship texts from the Scriptures, which reveal God’s heart and have a positive focus. This helps avoid preaching prayer and bring unity of prayer focus – Colossians 3:16, the Apostolic and Prophetic prayers found in scripture

  • Focus - Exalting Jesus – John 16: 14, II Corinthians 4:5, John 3: 30, I Corinthians 14:12, I Corinthians 12: 31-13:1, Philippians 1: 9-10, John 3: 29

  • The Necessity of Perseverance and Watchfulness –Ephesians 6:18 – Cultivate a culture of spiritual perseverance and alertness; to be entirely engaged in order to discern the Holy Spirit and experience God’s fullness. To be diligently watchful of the times in which we live – Matthew 24: 32, Isaiah 62: 6- 7

  • Boldness of Faith that Believes God – Ephesians 6:11, 12, 16, Acts 1:8, Luke 24:49, John 14:12, Luke 10:19, I John 3:8
